ESOGÜ Faculty of Theology was founded in 1996 and has been accepting students since 2008. Our faculty is currently one of Turkey's leading theology faculties, boasting a highly skilled academic staff and offering both undergraduate and graduate programs. It is constantly improving in terms of the potential of its students and the quality of its academic personnel.
The presence of young people with a theological mission to "keep good alive and eliminate evil" in the world, along with their powerful influence, consistently fuels our hopes for the future of our nation and humanity. We will work with all of our might to keep this hope alive and constant, and to raise students who are the guarantee of goodness and truth in ethical and human terms.
The Dean's Office will exert all available resources to facilitate the productive work of our esteemed colleagues in the academic staff of our faculty within a tranquil setting. We shall make a concerted effort to enhance our departments by incorporating new colleagues who are accomplished, committed to academic growth, encouraging collaboration, and demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills. With the distinguished academic staff of our faculty;
-We aim to cultivate individuals with a foundational understanding of theology, familiarity with primary sources relevant to their field, the ability to read and comprehend them, the ability to stay abreast of new information, needs, and trends, an understanding of their surroundings and the world, the ability to form positive relationships, the ability to conduct research, participate in discussions, and, above all, possess the essential personality traits demanded by the theology profession, a dedication to national and universal values, a genuine comprehension of religion, a strong sense of rights, justice, and morality.
-We will endeavour to educate individuals who are capable of combining the scientific knowledge of Islam with the demands of modern times and who can contribute to the advancement of Islamic culture by adhering to the fundamental principle that "Whatever we do, we must do it in the best possible way, in a way that sets an example for everyone."
-We will strive to provide our students with fundamental knowledge in academic courses as well as opportunities in various fields, particularly social and cultural activities, so that they can make accurate interpretations and decisions based on the information they acquire and supplement their scientific studies. On this occasion, we would like to praise our Almighty Lord, Allah, for giving us the opportunity to contribute to the material and spiritual texture of Eskişehir and our country, and we wish that our new duty will be beneficial to our community and university.
