The main purpose of the faculty is to train theologians who can individually access the main sources of the Islamic Religion, who can read and evaluate, and take them as reference while creating their own mindset, who are aware of the accumulation of knowledge in the field of theology, who are familiar with the values of the society in which they live, who can evaluate the cultural heritage, who can interpret life with their own knowledge as an active member of this life, and who can produce solutions to the problems they will face with an academic perspective.

Only Theology program is accepting students in Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Theology among these programs mentioned above.

There are 3 departments at the Faculty of Theology which provides graduate education. These departments are different from the departments accepting undergraduate students and constitute the basis of academic structuring.
